The BSc (Hons) Project Management programme provides a strong foundation in the principles, tools, and techniques required to manage projects effectively from initiation to completion. You will study core areas such as project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, procurement, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.

The course focuses on both strategic and operational project management, enabling you to manage resources, timelines, and teams while responding to real-world challenges. You will explore modern project management methodologies, including Agile, PRINCE2, and Waterfall, preparing you to work across different organisational settings.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Level 3 qualification, such as A-Levels (at least one pass) or a BTEC National/Extended Diploma in Business or a related subject

  • An Access to Higher Education Certificate from a recognised institution (accepted in place of A-Levels)

  • Other relevant Level 3 qualifications or equivalent international qualification

Mature applicants (21+)

Applicants aged 21 and over may be considered without standard academic qualifications if they can demonstrate engagement with the course.

All applicants must:

  • Pass an academic interview

  • Demonstrate English language proficiency or complete an English assessment on campus

Assessment of Bachelor programmes is continuous and practical rather than based on a single final exam. Typical assessment methods include:

  • Written reports and essays

  • Class presentations

  • Project work and case studies

  • Group assignments

  • Portfolios and reflective journals

  • In-class activities and practical tasks

This course is structured around units or modules, where students are assessed as they complete each topic — often through a combination of assignments and project work rather than only exams.
