What You'll Actually Learn
This degree gives you in-depth knowledge of event planning and production, marketing and promotion, budgeting, sponsorship, risk management, and customer experience, alongside contemporary topics like digital events, festivals, corporate and sporting events, and health and safety. Live projects and case studies show you how events actually come together, not just how they’re supposed to in theory.
You’ll build the communication, leadership, and creative decision-making skills the events industry runs on, with sustainability and ethical practice built into every module. In your final year you’ll complete a dissertation or applied project exploring a specialist area of event management, graduating ready for roles across festivals, corporate events, and venue management.

Entry Requirements and How You're Assessed
For the standard route, you’ll need 104 UCAS points from any Level 3 subjects, plus five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
If you’re 18 or older, you may be considered without standard qualifications, subject to meeting the university’s entry criteria.
